Swinfen Hall Hotel lies two miles south of Lichfield on the A38. The M6 toll road (Junction T4) is less than ½ a mile away and leads east to the M42 and west to the M6.

The manor of ‘Swynfeyn’ is recorded in the Domesday book as belonging to the Bishop of Lichfield and a manor house has stood on this site since Medieval times. The present Hall, widely accepted as “an architectural gem” was completed in 1757 under the direction of local architect Benjamin Wyatt, the founder of one of the greatest architectural dynasties in English history.

There are fabulous walks and cycle trails at Cannock Chase and Alton Towers.
