For those of you not yet in the know, here's the deal. Book a table for
dinner in the Four Seasons Restaurant on one of the above dates and you
can stay overnight for half the advertised rate. With discount, prices
start from £90.00 for a room and that includes VAT and full English
breakfast for two people.
Our bedrooms and suites are individually furnished and although they vary
greatly in size and aspect, they all offer luxurious 100% goose down duvets,
Egyptian cotton sheets, bathrobes, hospitality tray, satellite television,
DVD player, IPOD docking station and free wi-fi access. Your room will be
ready from 2.00 pm. So arrive early and take a leisurely stroll around the
deer park or just curl up in front of a roaring log fire with a good book
and afternoon tea.
MOTHERING SUNDAY - SUNDAY 14TH MARCH
£42.50 per person - £17.50 children aged 3-12
One of the most popular events of the year and quite rightly too! Tim has
written a special Mothering Sunday menu featuring many of our year-round
favourites including Roast Sirloin of Aberdeen Angus Beef, Roast Loin of
Pork complete with crackling & apple sauce and Pan fried Halibut with
Crushed New Potatoes and Crayfish Beurre Blanc. The desserts range from
a delicate Vanilla Créme Brulee with Orange sable biscuits to a
traditional steamed treacle sponge pudding with créme Anglaise.

Tables may be booked in either the Four Season Restaurant or in the Ballroom.
The meal, which includes Champagne and canapés on arrival, three
course Sunday lunch followed by coffee and petit-fours is priced at

ST. GEORGE'S DAY GOURMET DINNER - FRIDAY 23RD APRIL
Our St. George's Day dinner celebrates the wonderful array of fresh
home-raised produce in England today. With a benign climate and a
burgeoning growth in small quality food producers - it is more a question
of what to leave off the menu than what to include, but what about the wine?
The Nyetimber vineyard in West Sussex produces magnificent sparkling
wine and has three times won the IWSC Trophy for Best Worldwide Sparkling
Wine as well as UK Wine Producer of the Year in 2004, 2006 and 2008. No
problem for the reception then!
However, to find wines of a good enough standard to complement each course,
we have moved outside the homeland to include renown vineyards where there
is an English wine-maker or owner.
The evening begins at 7.30 pm with Nyetimber Classic Cuvee and canapés
in the cocktail lounge followed by a five-course gourmet dinner, with each
course accompanied by a carefully chosen wine. This is a very relaxed and
sociable evening and we keep the numbers to a maximum of 45 to ensure a
house-party atmosphere.
Tickets are priced at £69.50 which includes the reception, dinner,
all wines and coffee and petit fours.

LADIES LUNCHEON - MONDAY 26TH APRIL
Designer Fashion with Anne Morris
We are delighted to welcome Anne Morris from the Anne Morris Boutique in
Getliffe's Yard in Leek who will be introducing designer wear for special
occasions - Ascot, Summer balls, weddings etc. As a lawyer who could not
find a good "working" wardrobe, Anne's first foray into the fashion world
was to produce a range of tailored suits and formal wear under her own
label - Cachet.
There will be a welcome coffee at 11.30 am followed by the presentation
in the Ballroom from 12 o'clock. A light three-course lunch will then be
served in the restaurant followed by coffee.
Tickets are priced at £26 and include morning coffee, the presentation,
three-course lunch, a glass of wine and coffee.
A TRIP THROUGH THE ITALIAN VINEYARDS
FRIDAY 21ST MAY
with Andrew Johnson from Armit Wines
A very special Gourmet Night which will be showcasing a selection of the
best Italian wine producers. The wines will be accompanied by an
Italian-inspried menu with each course complementing the individual wines.
Tickets priced at £69.50 per person include the welcome reception,
five-course gourmet dinner and accompanying wines, coffee and petit fours.
A 30% accommodation discount is offered to all guests attending the dinner.
