Swinfen Hall was built in 1755 for a family of three and
55 servants, but for the last 17 years it has been a luxurious country house hotel. It is a very beautiful
Grade II* listed building set in 100 acres of rolling Staffordshire countryside incorporating beautiful gardens and a 45 acre wild deer park.
During the summer months a champagne reception can be held on the terrace overlooking the gardens and ornamental ponds with rolling views of the fields and lake beyond. This picturesque setting makes a lovely backdrop for photographs and a welcome drink.
Winter weddings also have their own charm, with glittering chandeliers and log fires crackling in the grates. During December, the Hotel is swathed in festive Victorian garlands and a 20-foot Christmas tree lights up the ballroom.
The Hotel is licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies, thus providing a complete venue for both the marriage service and the reception. Please see Civil Ceremonies for further details.
There are a variety of rooms available for the wedding breakfast from a private dining room for 10-20 guests to the ballroom which will comfortably seat 80-110 guests. Further details of the rooms available can be found under Wedding Receptions.
Twice a year we hold a Wedding Fair, details of which can be found on our Special Events page.
