Matt Warburton and his brigade work hard to find specialised suppliers who are committed to quality not quantity. Wherever possible local produce is used including local organic pork, artisan cheeses and soft fruits and vegetables.
Fruit, vegetables and herbs are also supplemented from our own walled garden and home-reared venison from the deer park appears on the menu for the first time this year.
The Four Seasons Restaurant
Our a la carte Dinner Menu, which is £39.50 for three courses, has a good choice of starters, main courses and puddings. Cheese can be taken as an alternative to pudding or as an additional course at £6.50.
We welcome non-residents and tables can be booked (subject to availability) as below
| Dinner | Monday - Saturday 7.00 - 9.30 p.m. £39.50 - 3 courses |
| Sunday Lunch | 12.30 - 2.30 p.m. £23.50 - 2 courses/£29.50 - 3 courses |
| Weekday Lunch | 12.30 - 2.30 p.m. £19.95 - 2 courses/£25.00 - 3 courses |
For Sunday lunch, children aged 3-12 are charged half the adult price.
The menus are complemented by an extensive wine list where we aim to offer quality, diversity and value. We buy directly from vineyards, through specialist merchants and at auction. Our wine list is therefore frequently changing as we discover interesting new wines.
The Private Dining Room
The private dining room is the original dining room of the Hall and is available for evening dinner parties and Sunday lunch for 12 to 20 guests. This beautiful room provides a lovely setting for birthday and anniversary celebrations, retirement parties or any special occasion. There is no room hire charge for tables of 12 adults or more and menus, wine, flowers and cake can be arranged to suit.
Bar & Terrace Menu and Afternoon Tea
Our Bar and Terrace Menu is available to non-residents from 12 noon until 3.00 p.m. and 6.00 - 10.00 p.m. This menu offers light snacks, salads and sandwiches served in the Edwardian Bar or, in warmer weather on the Terrace overlooking the gardens and deer park.
Afternoon tea is available most days but booking is essential as occasionally the hotel is closed for a big wedding or private function.
