Make a reservation at the Four Seasons Restaurant

We were delighted to receive a third rosette from the AA in January 2015 making us the first restaurant to win this accolade in Staffordshire since 2002. We are also proud that the Four Seasons Restaurant has been a regular winner in the Taste of Staffordshire Awards and in the Staffordshire Tourism Awards. Our restaurant is open to non-residents for both lunch and dinner and offers a five-course and nine-course Tasting Menu and Vegetarian Tasting Menu as well as an à la carte menu. However, we are not just a “special occasion” place.

Light Bites and Afternoon Tea

For more casual dining, our Bar and Terrace menu provides sandwiches, salads and light snacks both at lunchtime and in the evenings.

Our Afternoon Teas feature wonderfully light buttermilk scones and a delicious selection of cakes and desserts. We offer a choice of Afternoon Teas including a simple Cream Tea, a classic Afternoon Tea (with or without Champagne) and are proud to be one of the few hotels in Staffordshire that offers a gluten-free tea.

Non-residents are extremely welcome but we would advise you to book in advance as we are occasionally closed for an exclusive-use event.

Gift Vouchers which can be purchased for a monetary value or for something specific such as Afternoon Tea or Dinner for Two make a wonderful birthday or anniversary present. Please speak to the reception team for further details.

For special occasions Private Dining can be arranged in the opulent ballroom complete with fully-sprung dance floor, the luxurious oak-panelled Benjamin Wyatt Room or the Wedgwood Table in the upper restaurant. Family lunches, dinner dances and anniversary or birthday parties can be organised with menus to suit. So whether you want a table for 10 for Sunday lunch or a weekend celebration we can help.

We hold a series of food and wine events throughout the year including gourmet nights, wine evenings and cabaret suppers. Gourmet nights start with champagne and canapés followed by a six-course dinner with matched wines served in our beautiful Edwardian ballroom. Our annual calendar includes a Game Supper featuring Swinfen estate-reared venison, a Jazz Evening and a black-tie Midsummer Champagne Dinner.

For that quintessentially British experience, why not try one of our delicious Afternoon Teas complete with freshly-baked buttermilk scones served on the terrace overlooking the formal gardens and deer park or in the beautiful cocktail lounge? Our repertoire includes a simple cream tea, a Champagne afternoon tea and we are proud to be one of the few hotels in Staffordshire that offers a gluten-free afternoon tea.
