Sunday Lunch and an afternoon stroll – quintessentially English
The Sunday lunch menu at Swinfen Hall changes from week to week but always features traditional roasts with all the trimmings and decadent desserts. There are lighter options for the faint-hearted and we happily cater for specific dietary requirements with prior warning.
At least once a month our Sunday Lunch moves to the ballroom and one of our regular pianists adds a little keyboard magic to the proceedings with a wide-ranging repertoire of jazz, classical and popular standards. David Oakley, our master magician, also makes ad hoc appearances to mesmerise and mystify with some astounding table magic. You think you know how it’s done – think again.
Dates for a Touch of Music and a Touch of Magic are published in our newsletter and are featured on the Events page.
We have 100 acres of unspoilt park land so bring your walking shoes or borrow a pair of our wellies and after lunch take a stroll around the estate and meet our herd of sika deer and our small flock of rare-breed sheep. An ideal way to shed those extra calories and a lovely way to end the afternoon.
Sunday lunch is charged at £38 for three courses and £29.50 for two courses. Children aged 2-12 are charged half the adult rate and we have plenty of high chairs and booster seats for our younger guests.
