Swinfen Hall Hotel is the perfect venue for private dining offering exceptional food, fine wines and personal and attentive service within a magnificent Georgian mansion set in 100 acres of rolling parkland. Our Red Star status from the AA pays testament to our professionalism and friendliness and the quality of our food is reflected in the third AA rosette we were awarded in January 2015.


Corporate lunches and dinners, retirement parties and award ceremonies can be held in the Benjamin Wyatt room, the Edwardian ballroom or the Four Seasons Restaurant.


The oak-panelled Benjamin Wyatt room, adjacent to the cocktail lounge is a beautiful room with a high ceiling, glittering chandeliers and an ornate fireplace. It will comfortably seat 22 people and provides a stunning setting for executive dinners.

The magnificent oak-panelled Edwardian ballroom has a 24 foot high celling, raised stage, fully-sprung dance and double doors leading to the adjacent bar. The ballroom can seat up to 110 guests on tables of ten or up to 40 guests on one table in the centre of the room. An oval table running down the length of the ballroom is a magnificent sight and the room was often laid up in this way during the 1920s and 1930s for formal entertaining.

The dance floor can be left covered or uncovered dependent on the occasion whilst the stage is perfect for speeches, presentations, a cake or even a cheeseboard.

The Four Seasons restaurant, yet another oak-panelled room, has an ornately-carved fireplace and French windows leading to the cocktail terrace. The restaurant can be hired on a private basis for a maximum of 70 guests on round tables and 32 guests on one large table.

The Edwardian bar leading through to the ballroom is ideal for pre-dinner drinks whilst the cocktail lounge lends itself superbly to a Champagne reception for smaller parties. When the sun shines, drinks can also be taken on the cocktail terrace affording lovely views over the ornamental gardens and deer park.

For the majority of the year, there is no room hire charge for more than 16 guests in the Benjamin Wyatt room, 22 in the Four Seasons restaurant or 40 guests in the Ballroom. Below these numbers a small room hire charge will apply.

We have 18 luxurious bedrooms and suites if your guests wish to stay over.


Menus start at £48 per person for a three-course dinner with coffee and petit fours. Additional courses such as a fish course, sorbet, or cheese platter can be arranged or a Tasting Menu can be written to suit.
