Here comes the bride

If you wish to marry in England or Wales you may do so either by a civil or religious ceremony.  A civil wedding ceremony or partnership can take place at a Registry Office or at other premises approved by the local authority.  At Swinfen Hall Hotel we have three very beautiful and photogenic rooms which are licensed for civil weddings and civil partnership ceremonies both large and small.

Saturday church weddings may still be extremely popular but with the flexibility of civil wedding ceremonies being held on any day of the week, there are many more options available.

The other great advantage of getting married where you are having your wedding reception is being under one roof whatever the weather. No problems of bedraggled, windswept guests arriving from the church or trying to avoid rain puddles in your beautiful white wedding dress and satin shoes.

Many brides will stay the night before with their bridesmaids so they can get ready in comfort in the certain knowledge that everything is under control and they can relax and enjoy their wedding morning in style.

Our civil ceremony rooms are listed below with details of the maximum number of guests each room can accommodate and room hire charges for 2016 and 2017.  To book the registrar to perform the ceremony, you will need to contact Staffordshire Registry Services on 0300 111 8001.
