ACCOMMODATION OFFERS - SPRING FAIR WEEK AT THE NEC

During the above period, stay one night and we will give you a 10% discount, stay two nights and the discount increases to 20%, for three nights you will receive 30% discount and for a four night stay (or longer) you will save a fabulous 40% discount - please go to Bedrooms for room types and prices (before discount).   Swinfen Hall Hotel lies half a miles from the M6 toll road from whence it is motorway door to door to the NEC.   A very easy and direct route (16 miles in total) but a million miles removed from the concrete jungle of Birmingham city centre.

DISCOUNTED WEDDING PACKAGES FOR SUMMER 2012
We still have a few prime dates left in June and July which, due to the relatively short lead time, we are now able to offer at very special rates.  The early Summer is a lovely time of the year for a wedding with the rhododendrons in bloom and the formal gardens in full flower.  Besides the temperate climate there is also the advantage of long midsummer evenings. THE SWINFEN VENISON GOURMET DINNER
FRIDAY 3^rd FEBRUARY - £75 per person
Full details of the menu and wines will follow shortly but one of the highlights of the evening will be our estate-reared wild venison.  The evening will begin at 7.15 pm with Champagne and canapés followed by a superb six-course gourmet dinner in the oak-panelled Ballroom.  The evening will be hosted by Stuart, our Operations Manager, who will provide a light-hearted mix of fact and anecdote as he explains the menu and our choice of wines.  Tables can booked of any size or you are welcome to join the sharing table.   Tickets are priced at £75 and include Champagne and canapés on arrival, 6-course dinner with accompanying wines, coffee & petit fours and good company.   There is a 30% accommodation discount for guests attending the Gourmet Nights.  After discount, classic double bedrooms start at £129.50 per couple and include VAT and full English breakfast.

VALENTINE DINNER IN THE BALLROOM WITH FINESSE
Tuesday 14^th February - £55 per person including a Glass of Champagne on arrival
What better place to enjoy a quiet romantic dinner than in the beautiful surroundings of Swinfen Hall Hotel.    Enjoy a glass of Champagne on arrival before settling into our stunning oak-panelled ballroom for a splendid four-course dinner.  Finesse (keyboard and cello) will provide a romantic musical backdrop with a selection of modern classics.  Tickets priced at £55 per person include Champagne and canapés on arrival, an excellent four-course dinner, coffee and petit-fours and musical entertainment.

For those of you not yet in the know, here is the deal. Book a table for dinner for two in the Four Seasons Restaurant on one of the above dates and you can stay overnight for half the advertised rate. With discount, prices start from £92.50 per room and that includes VAT and full English breakfast.   All our bedrooms and suites are individually furnished and although they vary greatly in size and aspect, they all offer luxurious 100% goose down duvets, Egyptian cotton sheets, bathrobes, hospitality tray, satellite television, DVD player, IPOD docking station and free wi-fi access. Your room will be ready from 2.00 pm but you can turn up earlier and enjoy a light lunch before taking a leisurely walk around our beautiful grounds or driving out to visit one of the many attractions in the area such as Lichfield Cathedral, the National Arboretum at Alrewas, Cannock Chase or the Potteries.  

ANTIQUES VALUATION DAY AND LUNCH WITH TV CELEBRITY CHARLES HANSON
Monday 27^th February - £27.50 per person
On Monday 27^th February, we are delighted to welcome back, Charles Hanson from Hanson Auctioneers and regular TV host of Bargain Hunt, Flog It and the Antiques Roadshow for an Antiques Valuation Day and Lunch.   Root through the attic and bring your family heirlooms to be valued in the morning, guess the date and value of eight items in our Antiques Quiz to win a bottle of Champagne, then relax over an excellent lunch whilst Charles regales us with anecdotes from the auction rooms.  Tickets are priced at £27.50 and include morning coffee on arrival, three-course lunch with a glass of wine followed by coffee and petit-fours.  There will be a nominal £1 charge for valuations with all proceeds going to charity.   Charles is a very entertaining speaker and this promises to be a very sociable and fun day.

NEW YEAR GETAWAY - 3 NIGHTS FOR THE PRICE OF 2

Looking for a great-value New Year break - look no further.  From Monday 9^th January through to Friday 24^th February we are offering three nights accommodation for the price of two with a bottle of Champagne in your room on arrival and a complimentary cream tea during your stay (home-made buttermilk scones, clotted cream and preserves and a freshly brewed pot of tea or cafetiere of coffee).
