If you wish to marry in England or Wales you may do so either by a civil or religious ceremony. A civil wedding ceremony or a civil partnership can take place at a Registry Office or at other premises approved by the local authority. At Swinfen Hall Hotel we have three rooms which are licensed for civil weddings and civil partnership ceremonies.
Saturday church weddings may still be extremely popular but with the flexibility of civil wedding ceremonies being held on any day of the week, there are many more options available.
The maximum number of guests each room can accommodate is listed below with room charges for 2011 and 2012.
